CPR
If the victim is not breathing and has no pulse, begin
CPR. Using 3 fingers, place your index finger on the victim’s
nipple. Slide your 3 fingers to the sternum in the center of
the victim’s chest. Lift up the finger that was on the
nipple. You should now have 2 fingers on the lower part of
the sternum. Compress the victim’s chest ½” - 1” at a
rate of at least 100 per minute. Perform 30 compressions and
then give 2 breaths. After 5 cycles of 20 compressions and 2
breaths, reassess the victim starting with a pulse check. If
necessary continue CPR with a compression to ventilation
ratio of 30:2 and reassess after every 5 cycles.
